Here is Mother Kali in her dark form. She has finally made it to the home page to give all of

you her blessings.

 

This Kali was handmade along with all of the other Cosmic deities over 15 years ago. Shree

Maa said that this particular Kali never gets "dirty." She gathers no dust or ash on her.

 

 

Swamiji says in the introduction of the Kali Puja book:

 

"Kaala means darkness. Kaalii takes away Darkness. She takes away that Darkness from every

individual who strives in the path of perfection by performing the spiritual disciplines of

purifying austerities. Just as all the colors of the spectrum mix into black, yet still black

remains black, so too, Kaalii who is completely Dark, Unknowable, takes away all the

Darkness, yet She Herself, remains unchanged."
