Dear Swee, Namaskar.

Yes i like to wear pokhraj. Jupiter is in 3rd from Mars and tenth from

Ketu. If you pick lagnesh as Surya (due to parivartana) then its in

twelfth... I do like to wear it though.

Planets in the sixth or eleventh from paka lagna shows that which we see

as sin or shadripu. So when we wear those gemstones we tend to see those

ripus... whether or not we like to wear shiny rock pieces. Moon is the

karaka for all gemstones.

II Vyam Vyasadevaya Namah II

Dear Swee and visti,

My pranams to both of you.Gems have fascinated me always,but i am at loss to understand, whom to follow and what rules to adopt.I am fortunte to listen both you lecturing on gems but not sure of approach that consistently work.

Incidently i came across a letter published in Astrological Magazne of july 93 written by Richard .s.Brown, therein He says after 18 years research and practiceThe following method for selecting " planetary Gems " based on Sidereal astrology has been developed.Nine methods has been elaborted therein based on Lagna, dasa running,subhpati,Constellation lordship,Exalted planet,ownershp,mooltrikna,placement in friendly sign and yuti dristi principals.But we see He is busy in advancing sell of GEM STONES,and by normal count such said research be completing 31 years by now.Nothing new is heard or substiantial reached.

And There are many experts.Has anyone really done reserch on prescribing Gem stones and consequences thereof studed methodically.

Hope if yes , can you refer or enlighten with examples the methods you really find effective.Please assume all lectures and publiction on Gems in JD are beyond my head for I am in seach of confidence and method that can be really relied.Result oriented.
