enunciates the fact that the accumulated sins of the devotees are obliterated in seconds. Now a question is asked "how is this possible?" and pat comes the reply

'Who is there nearby?' pirATTi and that is why the term

'mAdhavanArEA'

 

The misconception that kaliyan just talks of divyadesam and the natural surroundings is a myth is reiterated from the pAsuram

 

'pazhithitta inbap payan pathaRuthu paNindEtha vallAr thuyar Ayavelleam

ozhithittavarai thankAkka valla perumAL thirumAl.." Periya Thirumozhi 10-6-6;

 

The materialsitc world consists of souls who seek refuge in other dhEvathAs; Some souls seek EmperumAn for other desires and ends. Others perhaps may look for just relief from rebirth (kaivalyam). These are not the ultimate ends. The Kainkaryam to the Lord for HIs sake is the best end. Those who spurn these undesired ambitons and fall at the feet of the Almighty also do have sins. EmperumAn decimates this in toto and make them for Him once and for all.
