Here , the Lord responded to the prayers of King ThoNDaimAnn and appeared before him as VenkatakrishNan ( ThiruvEnkadamudayAn) with RukmiNi , Vedavalli , Aniruddhan , Pradhyumnan , BalarAman and Saadhyaki . The PushkaraNi is KairavaNi ( a confluenmce of the fve sacred waters : Indhra , Soma, Meena , Agni and VishNu theertthams . Three AzhwArs ( Thirumangai , pEy and Thirumazhisai ) have performed their MangaLAsAsanams with 12 Paasurams .GeethAchAryan listened to those MangaLAsAsanams under Aanandha VimAnam . Excerpts from those MangaLAsAsanams are : "--paRRalar veeyak-kOl koNDu Paarthan thEr munn ninRAnai, --- ThiruvallikkENi kaNDEnE" -- Periya Thirumozhi ( PTM) : 2.3.1 Here, the tribute is for the Lord , who had the whip of the charioteer (Saarathy) in hand for driving the Chariot of Arjuna in the battle field . RanganAthan MangaLAsAsanam : Sri RanganAthan( Naanmuhan ThiruvandhAthi/ NTM) : neeLOtham vanthalaikkum Maamayilai MaavallikkENiyAn, einthalai vaay nAhatthaNai -- NTM: 35 Here, the AzhwAr is overcome by the sight of the waves breaking at the Thiruvadi of Sri RanganAthan as He rests on the five-headed serpent bed at Mayilai-MaavallikkENi . Pey AzhwAr: MoonRAm THiruvandhAthi: 16 " --anthi viLakku MaNi vilakkAm--yenthai oruvallit-tthAmarayAL onRia seer maarvan ThiruvallikkENi yaann senRu " Here Pey Azhwar acknowledges the darsanam of Lord with Sri DEvi on His broad chest and shining as a beautiful , lustrous lamp in the evening time . Such is the glory of ThiruvallikENi EmperumANs . The dhivya dEsam was always addressed by AazhwArs as : " Maa Mayilai ThiruvallikkENi " . The dhivya dEsam is viewed as a suburb of Mylapore ( Maamyilai). It is therefore appropriate that Srimath Azhagiya Singar stays at Maamyilai ( Nov 1-3) and performs MangaLAsAsanam from there at ThiruvallikkENi on Nov 1 .
