'aLa veNNei vuNdu AppuNdirundhavanEa' Sri Chakravarthith Thirumagan achieved what many others could not achieve. Having surpassed the invincible nature of the bow, He was offered PirATTi Herself by Sri Janaka Rajan. Till then He was the young king and after returning from lankA, He became the full fledged king. This is what Sri Periya vAchAn piLLai explains for the pAsuram "..vudanAi villena vallEa adhanai iRuthittu avaL inbam anBOdu aniandhittu iLam koTRavanAi thulangAdha munnEr.." 10-6-8; PerumAL went to the forst as a yuva-rAja and became mahA rajA after the pattAbishEkam Such a Great here gets entrapped with a small rope.
