Guest guest
Namaste Everybody, Thanks Vish for your beautiful and inspiring post! I just saw a beautiful shloka which is very timely for us all. We are all learning from the Kali Puja book and on Page 75 in the Adya Stotram it says: Navami Krsna pakshasya suklasyaikadashi para Daksashya duhita devi dakshayajna vinasini On the NINTH day of the DARK FORTNIGHT, and the 11th day of the bright fortnight, remember the Goddess who is Daksha's daughter, the Destroyer of Dasksha's sacrifice.. Guess what, Today is the Ninth Day of the Dark Fortnight in the month of Ashwin. It is also Saturday - a day which is special to worship Mother in Her form as Kali! So please if you have a chance, take a moment to remember Her! Tell Her how much we all love Her and long for Her sweet Divine Eternal Presence in our lives!!! Kali Maa ki Jai! Some fun ways to remember -- Chant Adya stotram (this verse is from that stotram) - it is on pages 72 to 77 in Kali Puja book -- Do Kali Puja from Kali Puja book -- Chant Kali mantra as many times as you like -- Om Hrim Shrim Krim Parameswari Kalike Swaha -- Sing to our Divine Mother "Kali, Kali, Kali" -- Read Swamiji's writings on web and listen to Maa sing to Kali! (www.shreemaa.org) Om Hrim Shrim Krim Parameswari Kalike Swaha! ramya , "inspectionconnection108" <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > > Namaste > > Friday eve at the Devi Mandir several of us had a discussion about > Kali.
