Guest guest
Hello there I recently discovered my grandfathers Rudraksha mala that I thought was lost...The main bead is a five mukhi and there are about 50 small one and five mukhi rudraksha's in the mala..along with two small pearls and two other small orange color beads (not rudraksha's) in the mala... I believe my grandfather used to meditate and perform puja's using this mala for more than 3 decades and then passed it onto my dad who primarily kept it in the puja mandiram... I did wear it a few times when it was passed on to me from my father about 10 years ago...But it suddenly went missing...I really thank GOD that I discovered it... What I need to know from the group is the process of cleaning the mala and perfroming puja before I wear it next Monday... I read on one of the sites that cleaning it with unbioled milk and warm water for a few days and then applying olive/sandalwooord oil with a softbrush + chanting Om Namah Shivaya and Om Hreem Namah along with incense is ok before waering the mala....Is it true? as I started to clean the mala with unboiled milk and warm water everyday.... Your advise will be greatly apppreciated... Thankyou and Regards/Ganapathy
