Thank you for your concern about me. You say that I have left my Guru. Is it really so? Why then are the sacred words Amma, Ma, my Amma Mantra ever on my lips, my breath, my thoughts? Why then is Amma's Form ever before my gaze? Why then is the Formless Inner Amma ever pulling me into Silence? True, my strong ego is still fighting for survival With weapons of intellectual reasoning wanting understandings, on the one hand And on the other hand, chronic bodily pains and miseries Which strangely enough disappear for the time being When handing out Veggie Wraps to the homeless Yes, the ego is still struggling and pleading with Amma To do what it wants To make it( the ego ) spiritual To heal/change this person or that To make this forum a sacred sanctuary But then without your challenging posts Would these words emerge? But, it is definitely too late to leave Amma For Amma Kali has a noose around my ego's neck And is chasing "me" with a sharp scimitar Ego knows it is doomed and is pleading for an easy death To Wake up on a sunny morning without "me" My blessings for you Tom, is that Amma Kali also put your ego out of its miseries soon but only if you want? Perhaps, you are trying too hard? Perhaps, it is time to let go and let Amma? but only if you want? my 2cents! Amma Bless, amarnath LET GO AND LET GOD! one word of friendly warning: what we project on others unjustly/erroneously karmically has to come to us. Amma said so in some story. Guest guest
Not that you've left, but that you're "primed" for it because of the 3rd trait common to those who've left. I DID give you credit for japa, which may provide enough punya to keep you from a complete quitting when the time comes. It's good karma that sustains false beliefs or insufficient devotional practices. tom Ammachi, "amarnath" <anatol_zinc wrote: > > Ammachi, "tom" <tomgull@> wrote: > > > > Amarnath, you fit the profile of those I've met > > who've actually left > > their guru: ... > > > > tom > > >>>> > > Brother Tom, Namaskar! > > Thank you for your concern about me. > You say that I have left my Guru. > Is it really so? > (snipped but thankful for)
