Dear Dr. Garga,

 

The normal tithi Shiva linga you would need worship would be Naageshawara. Since your tithi past is in 3rd part of 12 in Gemini raashi. Worship of "Om Namah Shivaaya namo naageshwaaraya" would be give good development. Since Rahu is also your atmakaaraka. It will increase your atmabal and will give you research ability also as Rahu is kaaraka for Research (Re+Search i.e getting the knowledge back which was done by Varaha avatar).

Since your 6th from AmK in D9 is ruled by Mercury, worship of Shodashi Mata will be best for you also since 9th from Rahu also ruled by Mercury will give much direction in Dharma and higher knowledge. It will also give you good stable growth in career. Since you are in education field it's best that you worship Shodashi mata. Read some good literation on Shodashi mata and get the mantra from Vedic Remedies in Astrology written by Pt. Sanjay Rath.
