I apologize for upsetting you. As I explicitly noted in my last post,

I do not disagree with your advice per se. My comment was simply that

a rank beginner with no background in Eastern philosophy or Hinduism

would do well to get some broad context from one of these simplified

primers before diving into the original source materials.

 

You are certainly free to disagree with that; however, I stand by my

statement, and apologize for not expressing it more clearly the first

time 'round.
