Seaking Advice to Focus and Calm the Mind

I have been reading this list for many months and have found it to be

a wonderful source of kundalini & life information. So, I hoping

maybe someone can give me some advice.....

Most of my life I have been a very productive and focused person.

Sometimes to a fault. Such as being a bit obsessive. About six years

ago a series of things occurred that lead me into a depression. I

felt overwhelmed, hopeless, trapped and at loss as to how to help

myself. There was a point when I felt a part of myself was broken or

cracked. I can almost say I had a physical sensation of breaking the

part of myself that could focus, be motivated and feel inspired to do.

Over what seems like a very long recovery, I have worked to pull

myself out of that depression. I am eating better, moving more and

can leave the house. There are several different issues I continue to

work on, but one that plagues me the most is the simple task of

cleaning my home. I use to be very organized and clean, but now I

find the simplest house cleaning task brings on a feeling of anxiety

and of being overwhellmed.

This brings me to my question. Can anyone advise me on dietary, yoga

and/or meditations that can help me to focus and find my

motivation/inspiration to access the feeling of joy, nurturing and

calm to do the simple task of cleaning my home?

Soul 6, Karma 1, Gift 11, Destiny 3 & Path 10

I deeply appreciate any advice/information you can offer.

Also, I wanted to mention.... A couple of months ago I wrote 8's on

all of my calendars and put 8's in mine and my husband's wallets. The

prosperity has been amazing!!!

Thank You all for your generosity of information.

Dear Abbey:

If your life is bringing you to a place where your focus is no longer the

same as before. why fight it? Why try to be like before. Let your life be

for a while making peace with it as it is, learning to just live. Order will

come back of its own accord.

You may want to do the following meditation from the Yoga from health and

Healing manual. It is to overcome mental fatigue, but I find it helps

reorganize the mind and let go of mind habits.

Place your hands, fingers interlaced at the level of your diaphragm. Right

thumb on the outside. Extend your ring fingers against each other and point

them upward at a 60 degree angle from the horizontal. Then chant ONG, mouth

open but exhaling only through the nose as you chant. Take deep breaths and

chant as long as you can each time. Let the mantra vibrate your whole mind.

Do it 3 minutes (manual suggestion). I like to do it longer. 6 long cycles.

Chanting this 5 times changes the mind.

Let your new focus be to enjoy and love rather than control and order. then

order will come naturally!

Blessings, Awtar

wondering what was meant by the Karma 1 Soul 6 ect. and also could

you explain further about the 8's and prosperity. I seem to have a

huge block in that area. My personal email is: oviyanda I

Awtar,

Thank you for your response and information. It has been the

consistent choice to enjoy life and not take things too seriously

that has been a key component to my journey out of the darkness of

depression. Thank you for reaffirming my efforts. Also, thank you

for the yoga advice.

Oviyanda,

The numbers I provided are my yogic numerology numbers. You can

find yours on the 3HO website.

As for the 8s, I read a message from this list concerning the

meaning of 8s. From what I understand 8s carry the energy of

prosperity. At the time, things were a bit tight financially, so

when I read this message I decided it was a good time to try out the

power of 8s.

Since then business has been very good. I am self-employed. In

addition, simple money issues have been working out in quick order.

All around the abundance has been obvious. Even my slightly cynical

husband had been impressed. I feel and express great gratitude for

this abundance.
