Dear Visti-ji,

Pranaam. Please accept my greetings to you and your family on Dipavali. I have a couple of follow up questions on gemstones. Please answer when time permits.

1. If a graha X disposits another graha Y, and gemstone is worn for graha X to strengthen its lordship because Y is malefic for the lordship of X, does this weaken Y sufficiently? Or, to make it better, the gemstone for Y should be worn on the left hand to decrease its effect ?

2. Does wearing a gemstone to weaken a graha (i.e. wearing on left hand) weakens the lordship of the said graha or its malefic function in the bhava where it is placed ?

3. What is recommended for functionally neutral grahas e.g. Sani for Mithuna lagna?

4. What is the effect of a gemstone in Vargas ? If a graha is benefic in Rasi chart but shows problems in Varga chart, shall we strengthen it ?
