Kali puja at the Mandir Friday night

Shree Maa and Swasmi performed a tremendously powerful Kali puja

Friday night at the Devi Mandir in Napa. I went to the Mandir full

of all sorts of mental and physical debris and chaos. During the puja

I could not focus and felt very disconnected from the process. At the

moment of the greatest intensity, when Swami held the knife high

ready to cut the ego in half, I poured all my stress and confusion and

garbage into the cumumber, the symbolic ego. Then with a great

"twack", the knife plunged thru the cumumber, and I felt an tremendous

relief.

If was amazing. The rest of the evening I felt light and easy, and

peaceful. I awoke the next morning quiet, simple, and relaxed.

This is the result of Kali's Grace. There is no other explanation.

It was not a mental construct, or my imagination. It was a real

experience of having all the levels of my existance washed and bathed

in Divinity.

Thanks, thanks, and I bow to Maa and Swami for invoking Kali and

living a life of purity. They are Divine Beings and are here to

demonstrate to us how to live a life of spirituality while living in

the world.

Jai Maa, Jai Swami, Jai Kali

love
