Guest guest
Namaste Parvati, thank you very much for the Kali puja class! Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity to perform Kali puja on Friday, but I am now catching up on the lessons and preparing to establish my first pot, which is very exciting. I have one question, though. My altar space is not very big, and the central place is already occupied by my Shiva lingam. I have acquired a coconut of magnificent proportions, and now I am at a loss where to place my pot. I don't feel comfortable moving Lord Shiva to the side, and there is no room behind or in front of the lingam (placing the pot directly in front of the lingam would make the lingam totally invisible)or anywhere else on my altar because that would mean taking down murtis or photographs that live there. Could I place the pot in front of the altar, on the floor? Or would it be advisable to choose a small pot with a small fruit on top and place it next to the lingam? I would very much appreciate your advice, with love, Henny
