Guest guest
Namaste Everybody! Today is the beginning of the sanskrit New Year -- Happy New Year! Maa said this morning "It is Sanskrit New Year today. Do Puja and Path." I pray that we can all fill our year with God! This friday there was Kali Puja at Devi Mandir. First Swamiji and Maa led Kali Puja from the Kali Puja book. Maa decorated a beatiful Kali -- words cannot describe! Maybe someone will put up Her photo. Swamiji established a pot and we chanted Her 100 names. Then we went to the Homa and recited Her 1000 names!!! It was so beautiful. Swamiji offered our animalistic tendencies, our Ego to the Divine Fire! We danced with aratai and Mother led us in some songs and talked a little bit about God - If we love God, God will take care of everything!!!! So beloved Family - it seemed like in one evening we were engaged in all aspects of Sidhantachara - puja, path, homa, nritya, geet, pravachan, samarpan!!! ......ok....coming up in next post....saturday and celebrating Diwali! Jai Maa!
Guest guest
Namaste Devi Mandir Family! What a beautiful weekend-full of so much love and devotion! This was my second visit to the Mandir and I am feeling again so full of blessings. The Kali Puja was especially powerful, I felt such grace clearing my overworked, crowded mind and then left with such peace! That night my sleep was like a deep meditation and it felt like blessings were being poured on me, mantras were everywhere, and where I was sleeping was vibrating with love. I am again so grateful to everyone there, and to Maa and Swami for being such amazing examples of perfect peace. Sincerely, Tara
