Thank you to Mother Durga, Shree Maa and Swamiji!!

I had to write to thank Shree Maa and Swamiji for the Durga Puja

book and CD -- and to Nanda, too, for the Shiva Puja class that

taught me how to do puja in the first place.

 

I had a very serious business delay that was going to have very bad

repercussions, and as the weeks went by, I kept praying to Devi, but

hadn't thought to do puja! As everything reached its worst, I

immediately thought, "Why haven't I done Durga Puja, what is the

matter with me?"

 

So last night I got everything together, and did the puja and felt

very close to Devi. But by this morning, again I was in tears over

all the problems. I apologized to Devi for being this way, but I

just couldn't take the pressure any more. Again, I was begging

Mother Durga to please change my attitudes and show me the way if

there was a way, or at least give up the internal struggle!

 

By a little after noon, the entire matter was resolved after weeks

of delay (and even was resolved in the way I had hoped it would

go!). My business and credibility are saved. And I have also

learned not to be so stingy about doing puja -- if I had been doing

it regularly, emotionally I would not have gotten into such a bad

state.
