Guest guest
Reminder from the Calendar of /cal BHAI DOOJ/ BHAI PHOTA/ BHAV-BIJ Tuesday October 24, 2006 All Day (This event does not repeat.) Notes: After the high-voltage celebrations of Diwali, sisters all over India get ready for 'Bhai Dooj,' when they ceremonize their love by putting an auspicious tilak on their brothers' forehead and perform an aarti by showing him the light of the holy flame as a mark of love and protection from evil forces. Sisters, in turn, are lavished with gifts, goodies and blessings from their brothers. Bhai Dooj comes every year on the 5th day of Diwali, which falls on a New Moon night. Dooj' means the 2nd day after the new moon; 'Bhai' means brother. http://hinduism.about.com/library/weekly/aa102800a.htm Set up birthday reminders http://us.rd./cal_us/rem/?/cal?v=9&evt_type=13 Copyright © 2006 www. http://privacy./privacy/us
