Tirumala temple fetches a record Rs.20 million today

 

TIRUPATI, OCT. 24,2006 (TIRUPATITIMES.COM)

 

The famous hill srhine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near here is

growing richer and richer day by day as the shrine today fetched a

record total revenue of about Rs.20 million.Temple sources said that, of

this, the temple hundi alone has netted about Rs.17 million besides gold

and other precious offerings made by thousands of devotees.
