The famous hill srhine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near here is

growing richer and richer day by day as the shrine today fetched a

record total revenue of about Rs.20 million.Temple sources said that, of

this, the temple hundi alone has netted about Rs.17 million besides gold

and other precious offerings made by thousands of devotees.

and richer by the day" almost every week?

 

Since Thiruvenkatamudayan is there, then how can it get "richer"? 20 million, 40 million, 6 billion,

10 trillion: what / how does it matter??

to adiyEn, as eventhough the temple earns huge

money day-by-day, it's not helpfull to any other

divyadesams.

Even if a small amount of money is donated from that,

to any other divyadEsam (which is in poor financial

state), it would be great!!!

I agree with Senthil and Raghuram swAmins. Won't it be possible for all the VaishnavAs to unite and act?? Isn't it an irony that a day's earnings at Tirumala could support almost all the other divyadesams for more than a year?? Where is the accountability? What happens to all this money? Why care for Museums and Hockey stadia when the Lordships at other divya desams don't even have proper vastrams??

Would emperumAnAr have liked this??? First and foremost, Tirumala should come under the total control of the religious mutt established by emperumAnAr. The day that happens, rest will follow.
