Other aspects we have already discussed. Follwing are my comments for your fist question 1) Mrs Gayatridevi has mentioned following words in her book in the conclusion of IL Chapter "This simple neumerical method may not give clear indication & it is far more advisable to take recourse to an analysis of the planetary position to assess the financial strenth of chart" after this she have given Standard Dhana yoga. I am not aware of Dr.B.V.Raman's views and methods to analyse IL. Her Daugther has not mentioned anythings such as planetory positions w.r.t IL. she has given considerations to Planet placed in & aspecting IL..pause.. as i indicated, I don't have much experience or reading on IL except the said chapter in the book. If you consider 'Cancer' lagna then Dhana yoga is very powerful. 2nd lord in deep exaltation conjuct 11th lord in 10th house. despositor cum excellent yogakarka Mars is also Exalted and aspects the Dhan Yoga combination. Great wealth is clear by these. let us Consider another aspect. AL which is an Image of the Native in society, 12th house becomes much more powerful than 11th. it can mean that in the image of people he is a person who looses (by one or many reasons) more than his income hence not a wealthy man. Now sachin doesn't cary this image. People has an impression that he is a very very rich man who earns in torrent thro' various means. Compare it with 'Kanya' Lagna-- Venus as 2nd cum 9th lord placed in own Nakshatra and looks at own house. I have seen some charts which shows that palcement of Venus in 8th house is infact good for finance. He is with deeply exalted Sun though 12th lord bestows VRY. But the varification with AL is the deciding factor which makes me believe Kanya Lagna looking just with Finacial angle. 11TH from AL is very powerful with exalted Sun & Venus. His major income comes from Advertising Contracts which is shown by Venus placed in 11th from AL. Exalted Sun also indicates income thro' Awards as well as the righteous source of income. Just now it was understood that he gives away lot of money in charity of for Underpreviledged/very poor section of society. That may be shown by Saturn in 12th from AL. To sumup - Main thing (in finance matter) is AL which makes me consider Kanya Lagna - if one checks chart of Amitabh Bachhan, Dhirubhai Ambani, or chart of any wealthy people around, one invariably finds 11th house stronger than 12th House from AL. 2) as you correctly said, Conflicts will be there. like in cancer lagna, Traditional Dhana yoga is very powerful but it doesn't showup w.r.t AL. in Kanya Lagna, Traditional dhan yoga is not as powerful in comparision with Cancer but they are very powerful w.r.t AL. So we can look at the other things to come at oue own conclusions. I may be finally wrong in taking Kanya lagna but at present it is the only one which appears logically more fitter to me.
