Guest guest
Namaste This evening Swami graced us with another Cosmic Puja class. He discussed the yantra and called it the roadmap to Maa, to merge with Her, our divine Nature. There is no way to paraphrase the class. Please go to the Devi Mandir web site and view it. However, I can share the feeling of the class and the effect it had on me. As I listened to Him, I became more and more focused and quiet, the chattering mind subsided and the harmony and unity of life sprang to the foreground. That harmony which is always presnt, but is overshadowed and often ignored as we seek to get our point across, or mentally prepare the answer to a question, or to drift off to plan tomorrow's lunch, that all subsided and harmony was left. The feeling in the Temple was electric, yet totally silent. Shiva and Shakti were balanced. Everyone felt that way. We all bowed to Swami at the end of the class, and left the Temple walking on air. Afterwards, as I drove home, I wanted to integrate all that Swami said into my life. I wanted to know in my bones and my heart that this knowledge was of the highest importance, and the most valuable data I would study and master As I thought about the lesson, I remembered that the entire creation is built on the dynamic intuitive principles and primary mantras / Dieties found in the sacred texts of all religions. That the great ones on the Earth at this time, like Shree Maa and Swami, hold the key to understanding, experiencing, and using those principles to help us know our True Nature, create a better world in the here and now. All the magnificant and all the deadly manifestations we use to repair or destroy our world originate from the suble intuitive states which Maa and Swami have access to. And, which they can help us access and use. It is an unbelieveable act of Grace that they are with us, accessible to us, to show us the way to reconnect to our true nature. And then, once we know who we really are, once we have remembered our birthright, we can use that unlimited source of all creation to improve ourselves, and at the same time, improve the world. Think of it: one could train to be an architect, engineer, or a scientist, and only know a few basic principles of the building blocks of life. With that knowledge, new buildings, modern labor saving devices, or new medical cures are developed. Yet that knowledge is not integrated with our true internal eternal being. The result of that imperfect and partial knowledge is some enhancement of our daily life, but, negativity and disharmony result too. The knowledge of mantras, yantras, homas, and prayers are the most sacred and powerful tools we can utilize to truely know the Truth of our existance. All those subtle forms are within us, all are a part of, and filled with God, Shiva, Mother Divine, whatever you wish to call the Supreme Being. We just have to open our eyes, ears, and hearts, and see what is within us, now at this moment, and eternally. Just putting our attention on these forms of God, these subtle and perfect sounds of the Divine Being, and they will grow stronger and stronger in us, in just the same way as the differences and disharmony melted away this evening, and the harmony dominated. We have to get in tune with the Gurus. Even if we do not know how to do that, here is how They help us. First Maa and Swami inspire us, then once we are inspired, they take us to the playground and let us run around trying all the different sliding boards, swings, and sandbox. Then, once we find some activity we really resonate with, They teach us how to use it properly, for the highest benefit. They teach these amazing classes and record them and store them on-line for us and our children, and our children's children, to use in the eternal battle against the Great Ego and the forces of Duality. Maa and Swami are only on this Earth for a short time. Let us all vow to take advantage of the knowledge and wisdom they have to impart pass it only allour friends and brothers and sisters in this Universe. In the scriptures it says: "Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu, Guru is the Great Maheswar".. The Guru is all and everything, the Guru is God manifest, and therefore, They are the way we get to meet God face to face. I bow to the Guru. Jai Maa, Jai Swami love Vishweshwar Well, as I sat in the class, the shakti and silence were so powerful, that I could not think. What a huge blessing. Swami just pours out the knowledge. He takes us with Him as he calls for the Dieties, and explains their place in our lives.
Guest guest
A very inspiring post, Vish. How I do need to put away all my selfish preoccupations, and truly, deeply, connect with the gurus. Jai Maa!
