When you incur debt, what you are saying is, "I am going enjoy today and pay tomorrow." So you are obligating your self tomorrow for today's pleasure. We would say that's not a good idea from a spiritual point of view. If you encumber yourself for tomorrow, then you won't be free today. You have obligated yourself to spend time working in the marketplace in order to pay for yesterdays enjoyments.
