Meaning:

"The Ancient Beginning Lord, Who wears in the

red twined hair water (ganga),

destroyed three cities", so say the fools.

Three cities are the threefold filth activities.

Who realizes the knocking down of those?!

 

Notes:

1. While it is good to hail the deed of God

burning three puras, its significance is

removal of threefold filth - ANavam, kanmam

and mAyai. This is the destruction every

soul has to look forward to.

2. appu - water.
