Guest guest
Regulate your system through sun meditation' Express News Service Ludhiana, October 25: Shabad Surat Sangam Ashram, Malke, is organising a three-day long free camp of a special practice named Siddamrit Surya Kriyayog at the PUDA ground at Dugri Road. Talking to mediapersons, Swami Sureyendu said, "The camp will start on October 27. The kriyayog is an age-old practise which was popular in vedic times as `Trikal Sandhya'. The basic principal of this practice is to keep our eyes closed, directly facing the sun. When sunrays enter the brain through closed eyes, they stimulate our brain and sensitise the glands. With this, certain juices are secreted, which regulate our hormones and strengthen our body.'' Swami Sureyendu said that the kriyayog should be done an hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset. "The time from 10 am to 2 pm should be avoided, as the sunrays are too strong during this time. In winter months, it can be done any time during the day, but in the summer months, one should do it soon after sunrise.'' Swami Sureyendu claimed that he has cured as many as 25,000 patients in the last four years with this technique. "Our Surat Sangam Ashram Trust is 12 years old, and we organise free camps. Although the kriyayog is a very old practise, Swami Budhpuri revived it 12 years ago.''He highlighted that children, elderly, disabled or sick persons can follow this practice easily and reap its benefits. He claimed that problems like fever, sinusitis, headache, migraine, stomach troubles, pathetic eye-sight, diabetes, blood pressure, asthma, heart problem, menstrual problems, allergies, skin problem and even cancer can be healed and cured this way. Telling about this sun meditation, he said, "There are two mantras and seven `mudras' which should be done with closed eyes, and this will be demonstrated in the three-day camp at Dugri.'' http://cities.expressindia.com/fullstory.php?newsid=206711

HerServant
Thank you Mr. Parker for sharing the article. This is known in western mysticism as the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Jesus met his spiritual forerunner John the Baptist in the river Jordan and "received" this baptism. Jesus enters the river Jordan to enact that the flesh (senses) must be first be purified. The embodiment of mortal purification is represented by St. John the Baptist, as St. John is "of the wilderness (desert)" and performing and preaching pennance and renunciation. Upon entering this river of purification, Jesus then submerses himself into the water. The water submersion symbolizes purification of the consciousness. Jesus meeting John the Baptist is the pure waking state, Jesus in under the water is the pure deep sleep state, and Jesus coming up out of the water is the purified dream state. Together Jesus worships the Father in the purified state of consciousness of all 3. Upon which the Spiritual Sky is opened (can be witnessed) and there resides the Spiritual Sun having radiance millions of times brighter and more penetrating that the material Sun. Meditation on this Sun is not explicable in words. Part of the Spiritual Sky is covered with an effulgent cloud and from that cloud comes forth the Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove. The Dove too, is effulgent and descends into the heart of the devotee.
omsadhak
Siddhamrit Surya Kriya Yog (SSKY), this name completely conveys the process and the goal of this sadhana. 'Siddha' stands for divine or top most, the top of head which is called 'Sahasrara' also called as 'Siddha Kshetra' and from their all the fluids of life are being secreted to nourish the body and provide energy to perform all the mundane activities. In scriptures it is named 'Amrit' while doctors & scientist name it hormones or juices and consider essential for life. 'Surya' as we all know is the ultimate source of energy and the basis of our this earth but in the body also we have an energy center located in naval region and that is also called as 'Surya' of the body. Normally, this sun or the energy center in the body is dormant or very dull so that body is unable to get rid of all the mud and muck and rather keep on storing it as a resultant of food and other intake through our sensory organs. Once awaken this sun may set all these garbage ablaze. And then this sun may not be limited to naval region only, it will rather expand to cover the whole body and will reach till the Siddha Kshetra in the crown of head. Then this heat will increase the secretion of nectar which in turn will further fuel up the heat so they both will feed each other. In this condition body will not require any food or alike from out side and would truly be called as self sufficient or 'Poorna' then this very body would transform into divine one and merge into that. But as we have seen this can not happen on its own but some action or 'Kriya' is required for that. This is what SSKY aims at, adjoining of Shiv & Shakti or Siddha Amrit & Surya through action 'Kriya'. This may also be called as awakening and advancement of Kundalini
