Sat nam everybody,

I started using Braggs to replace salt. I remember folks in the ashram

putting it on popcorn. I'd like to know if it is a fermented soy

product, the label doesn't say.

I've been reading a lot lately about unfermented soy products, that

they can cause hypothroidism, also have been linked to breast cancer.

Any opinion on this?

I used to eat a lot of tofu, soyburgers and such, I am cutting down. I

understand that fermented soy products, such as tempeh and miso are ok.

thanks for any info.

Braggs is NOT fermented and has been known to cause negative reactions in

some people. If you are looking for a natural, fermented soy product, try 'Nama

Shoyu'.

Fermented soy is best, easiest to digest and the potentially harmful

substances have been neutralized by the fermentation process.
