To Vistiji and all learned ppl-query regarding snake offered 2 shivalinga!

Dear vistiji and all learned members,

In one of your lectures U said that for KSY/KAY one shud

offer a baby snake 2 a shivaling in a shiva temple and not the big

snake that is coiled around lord shiva .Now my questions r as follows:-

1)Can a palm sized snake b offered 2 a shivaling after rudrabhishek and

removed from there thereafter by the priest himself?can U pls post the

correct/elaborative method of doing so?

2)Can one do milk abhishek as well as offer milk as prasad to the sarpa

(snake) that is encircled on shivaling on every panchami tithi?If

yes ,then Shud this b specifically done on the sarpa that is

enclircled shivalinga in a temple?BUT, by doing so the milk that is

offered 2 the snake will directly fall on shivaling. Is it safe 2 do

so? or shud the snake b momentarily removed from the shivaling just

for the abhishek and then again place it on the shivaling?Pls
