Dear Srivaishnavas,

 

Vara Vara Muni Thirunakshtram celebrations was held at Shri Krishna

Temple, Muscat last week in a very grand manner. As many as 50

Asthikas attended the Sattrumurai.

 

The celebration began as early as 09 'o' clock in the morning with

thirumanjanam for Perumal, Thayar & Swami amidst chanting Vedas &

Azhwar Pasurams.

 

Immediately after the Thirumanjanam, Thiruppallandu,

Thirupalliyezhuchi & Thirupavai Sattrumurai was performed. Followed

with chanting of

 

Thiruppalandu

Kanninum Siruthambu

Thiruvoimozhi 10th Decade till Soozh Vizum Pani Mookil

Iramusa Nootrandhadhi

Upadesa Rathinamalai

Yathiraja Vimsathi

 

Immediately after the thirumanjanam, Mamuni was adourned with Swami

Emperumanar Vasthram which was brought from Sriperumbudur by one of

the asthika.

 

The chanting of Aruli Cheyal ended with Sattrumurai pasurams of

Thiruvoimozhi, Iramunsa Nootrandhahi, Upadesa Rathinamali & Vazhi

Thirunamam. Mamuni was also felicitated with Swami Parthasarathy malai

prasadam & Parivattam which was once again brought from

Tiruvallikeni.

 

Immediately after the sattrumurai, theertham &prasadams was

distributed to all the asthikas.
