What was the date when nepal standard time was implemented?

Thanks. If you can find the full date of implementation, it will be

helpful to others as well. There seems to be some discrepancy between

webpostings and reference books. Parashara Light shows the date of

implementation as 1st january 1986. Could you kindly confirm from

official sources? This will be very useful.

Nepal's Standard Time was changed from +5:30 to +5:45 hrs. on 1st January, 1986 at 12:15 a.m.
