Guest guest
Tulsi Vivah is when Tulsibai (former birth known as Vrunda) and Shaligram (stone form of Lord Vishnu) get married. Tulsi vivah start on the first Ekadashi (Devprabhodni) after Diwali and lasts till Poonam (15th day). Tulsibai is sacred in a Hindu household. It is said to be the purest form and is used in daily in pooja. It is said that one who has a Tulsi leaf in their mouth at the time of death shall be released from all sins. Those who wear a rosary made from Tulsi beads shall get abode from the Gods. Lord Vishnu said that He would become a Shaligram and will stay on the banks of the Gandaki River to be with Tulsi forever. very good event for married woman. thanks angel Cheap Talk? Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar, I haven't seen Tulsi plant here in Toronto/Canada/where I live- wondering if holy basil/tulsi (capsules, ayurvedic/ works here. I also read on AIVS List /David Frawley/ that one should be careful with Tulsi-can't remember the reason given, perhaps didn't make much sense to me, at the time, LOL! My contributions as under- Rosary made from Tulsi beads and worn in neck also keeps one away from spirits, possession, black eye and the negative astral forces in the atmosphere Tulsi plant kept at home will say all about the prosperity in the family. If the leaves are good green, healthy looking and fresh vibrant, then alls well at home, the protective sheath is around., but if they become dirty, all dry, soaked up without water, fading clour, withering, then it means something is wrong in the house, or maybe someone in the family is extremely unhappy due to whatever reasons. Hope the above throws some light too to your post. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya, angel <angelgoel wrote: > > Tulsi Vivah is when Tulsibai (former birth known as > Vrunda) and Shaligram (stone form of Lord Vishnu) get > married.
