Guest guest
where do these contrived ideas originate from??? Where has Srila Prabhupada ever advocated the use of SOYBEAN OIL as a cooking medium for either temples OR devotees? soybean oil should NOT be used for cooking in temples. Cooking in temples is for the pleasure of the deity (you remember God, right?). Krsna prefers ghee above all other mediums of cooking 'oil' so why would any TEMPLE be cooking in soybean oil? neither should devotees be cooking in this oil for their own consumption. the use of SOY products is a modern and devious trick by unscrupulous persons, to increase their own profits. which country do yoy think produces the MOST soy beans in the world? an Asian country we know of??? NO! it's the USA... run by demonic leaders. "The miserable conditions of this material world can be corrected by a sufficient supply of milk, yogurt, honey, GHEE, molasses, food grains, ornaments, bedding, sitting places and so on. This is human civilization. Ample food grains can be produced through agricultural enterprises, and profuse supplies of milk, yogurt and GHEE can be arranged through cow protection. Abundant honey can be obtained if the forests are protected. Unfortunately, in modern civilization, men are busy killing the cows that are the source of yogurt, milk and GHEE they are cutting down all the trees that supply honey, and they are opening factories to manufacture nuts, bolts, automobiles and wine instead of engaging in agriculture. How can the people be happy?" [sB.5.16.25 pp] "So far this soy sauce, I have no personal experience with it. I understand soy beans are nice, but I do not know about this soy sauce". [sPL 69.03.24] Yet we find even some of Srila Prabhupada's formally initiated sisyas advocating the use of SOY sauce in their recipes!!! ys haridasa vesyadasa
