Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > Even though you have refused for one year to answer my question to you, by > explaining your position on exactly how when and where Srila Prabhupada > authorised his replacement, Yes, I refuse to speculate. Please also note that on Oct 7, 2006 I wrote that I agree with following statement (your point b): "Amongst all the orders from Srila Prabhupada to the GBC that the GBC have so far presented on the guru issue to justify their actions, there is no order that we (the IRM) have seen whereby Srila Prabhupada authorises the GBC to remove him as the sole diksa guru for ISKCON." > I shall answer your question. Okay, I am waiting for the answer. So far you have not really answered it. On October 16 you proudly announced, "I shall explain, with Srila Prabhupada's mercy, the proper understanding of your nice quotes". So please explain, with Srila Prabhupada's mercy (quotes from Srila Prabhupada), the proper understanding of these quotes. > Srila Prabhupada only says he remains within the material universe, That is incorrect. He also wrote, "to come back from Goloka Vrindaban". > not that he has to be physically present before every disciple. Even when > he was on this planet he did not physically meet many of his disciples, so > clearly this physical meeting is not essential to the process of diksa- > the process that actually delivers the disciple. This is fuzzy because you did not explain what you mean by "physically present before" and "physically meet". Do you mean that their gross material bodies must touch each other, or what? Here is another quote from Srila Prabhupada: "My Guru Maharaja used to say like that, that "Finish this business in this life. Don't delay for the next life." He was telling also that "Don't give me trouble again to come here to deliver you." That is the responsibility of spiritual master. Spiritual master responsibility is to take the disciple to Krsna, until he is able to do, to help him, to help him, to help him. That is the verdict of the sastras. Just like Bilvamangala Thakura. His spiritual master delivered him, taking the shape of a prostitute. So these stories are there." (Lecture on SB 6.3.18, Feb 11, 1971) So I am asking you: If the spiritual master does not have to be present (incarnated) on the same planet as his disciple to deliver his disciple, as you claim, then why did Srila Prabhupada quote his Guru Maharaja saying that he has to come here? ys Ramakanta dasa
