WINTER SEMINAR WITH HH SMITA KRSNA SWAMI ON ADRIATIC COAST

Have you heard that association with advanced devotees is of crucial

importance for spiritual advancement? In order to offer you an opportunity

for such association...

 

 

....with great delight, we are inviting you to the first winter seminar that

will take place in January 2007. at Adriatic seashore. The subject, "The

Nectar of Instruction" (Upadesamrta), will be lectured by H.H. Smita-Krishna

Swami in a picturesque Žaboriæ village (close to Šibenik).

 

 

Still under impression of recent successful Japa retreat on the island of

Braè, we decided to facilitate an interactive seminar in a rented house with

the central heating. The house is capable of accommodating cca 35 devotees

and has all necessary features for for such a function (including the floor

heating in a room that could serve as a temple-room.) It is located on a

beach and surrounded with holiday homes, which are usually vacant at that

time. In front of the south sunny veranda - grow tangerines, which portends

pleasing winter Mediterranean days. Devotees will be accommodated largely in

the surrounding apartments with decent heating facilities (for the 'seminar

house' itself has insufficient number of rooms).

 

How?

The morning hours will be reserved for usual Deity worship, followed by

Bhagavatam lecture. The seminar will take place in afternoon hours. Spare

time (apart from eating), could be for nature trekking and sightseeing in

company of a great nature liver - namely, H.H. Smita-Krishna Swami.

 

When?

The seminar officially starts on 23rd January '07 (Tuesday), followed by

lunch break and afternoon seminar session. It ends on 28th January '07

(Sunday) by the morning programme and SB lecture.

 

Where?

Žaboriæ village is located half an hour drive on the local motorway from

Split and cca ten min. drive away from Šibenik. (Two and a half hours drive

from Zagreb).

 

How much?

E 80per person, which includes: Venue rental, prasadam, lecturer's expenses

and modest donation to Maharaj as a token of gratitude for his choice to

spend with us some pleasant January days. The additional charge will be €60

for five days accommodation, but this charge could be decreased if we get

more participants than expected.

secure your participation in this transcendental adventure (which usually

association with H.H. Smita-Krishna Swami turns out to be), it would be

mandatory to pay the full price (or the reduced one, depending on the number

Yes; reading of 'The Nectar of Instruction' by Srila Rupa Goswami before the

seminar, as well as your dynamic participation.
