*************************** von Krishna Candra Prabhu: Hier sind noch die Billig Flüge.... vor allem Herr Jakob, 0049 6152 53 826 Herr Jakob 0049 89 2727 63 00 Flugreisen GMBH 0049 711 636 88 63 Reisebüro Ehret in Stuttgart ttt-Reisen 0049 89 96 30 91 Air India 043 888 70 90 Flugbörse: 0049 251 49 04 777 ******************************** some other inspiration: ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Bhakti Vikasa Swami busy Krsna -- this is God --------------------------- Think how busy Krsna is. He is in the heart of every living entity. And yet Krsna is with Radharani and the gopis and simultaneously with His queens in Dvaraka. This is God. (From Life with the Perfect Master by SDG) ------- End of Forwarded Message ------ *************************** qualification for going to the spiritual world --------------------------- Devotee: Srila Prabhupada, what is the qualification for going to the spiritual world? Srila Prabhupada: The first qualification is to always remember that this material world is a place of misery (duhkhalayam). Then you can go to the spiritual world. As long as you think, "Oh, this material world is very nice," you have to remain here. Quoted in Btg #17-06, 1982 ------- End of Forwarded Message ------ ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Bhakti Vikasa Swami (Krsna) Katha [11188] Prabhupada Said [3462] lower than the lowest --------------------------- (from Hari Sauri Prabhu's Transcendental Diary, September 26, 1976) [srila Prabhupada] said there is nothing lower than a dog, yet even dogs have one good quality-faithfulness. And he told me a story about a man, a dog and a baby: The man had to leave his house for a few minutes, so he placed his baby on a bed and left his dog in the room to guard it. When he returned a short while later, the room was empty. He was horrified to find a trail of blood leading out into the garden. Following it, he suddenly came upon the dog running out from the bushes, its mouth covered in blood. The man was shocked. He thought that the dog must have attacked the baby, dragged it into the bushes and killed it. He angrily rushed inside, got a gun, and returned to face the dog. As he pointed the gun at the dog, the animal sat obediently before his master, making no attempt to run away. Bang! He killed the dog. But at the loud report of the gun, the cry of a baby rent the air. Confused, the man ran inside and found his child lying under the bed, unharmed. Now perplexed, the man retraced the trail of blood into the garden. Behind the bushes he found the body of a dead fox covered in blood. It was clear what had happened: The fox had threatened the baby, so the dog put the baby under the bed to protect it. It fought and killed the intruder and dragged it out into the garden. The man lamented his hasty action. The dog was so faithful that, although he knew he had fulfilled his duty in a valiant way, still he did not protest when his master shot him. The conclusion, Srila Prabhupada told me, is that the disciple should serve the spiritual master in the same way. If the disciple cannot remain faithful to his spiritual master, he is less than a dog. ------- End of Forwarded Message ------ ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Candrasekhar Acarya (das) BCS Prabhupada Said [3455] simply wonderful --------------------------- Nanda-Kisora: What happens to a person if we just give him out on the street one Simply Wonderful or some prasadam, one piece of prasadam? Prabhupada: That is wonderful, simply wonderful. (laughter) He has not tasted such wonderful sweet in his life. Therefore you give him wonderful, and because he's eating that wonderful sweet, one day he'll come to your temple and become wonderful. Devotees: Jaya! Prabhupada: Therefore it is simply wonderful. So go on distributing this Simply Wonderful. Your philosophy is simply wonderful. Your prasadam is simply wonderful. You are simply wonderful. And your Krsna is simply wonderful. The whole process of simply wonderful. And He acts wonderfully, and it is acting wonderfully. Who can deny it? Devotee: Prabhupada is simply wonderful. Prabhupada: That's all right. You can become... Everyone. All right, have kirtana. (end) ------ London, August 11, 1971 ------- End of Forwarded Message ------
