>From Nanda's Shiva Puja class, I was able to learn the basics of how

to read a Panchang, but I have a question about how to read the

hours/minutes of when one tithi ends and another tithi starts. On my

Panchang for Chicago, it lists such goofy numbers as 27.57 and 27.11.

Based on a 24-hour clock, what can these numbers possibly mean? I'm

looking at the fourth column of the Panchang, the column just

following the number of the tithi.

Thanks to anyone who can elucidate ;-)

Hi Rosetta,

Can you please email (to chandimaakijai

<chandimaakijai > ) a scanned copy of your panchang

(just one page will be fine). That will help us understand your issue

better.

Thanks and Jai Maa
