In "Before Becoming This", Shree Maa Said:, "I was not only with

Ramakrishna; I was with everybody. I would not pick a flower without

God's name. Mother Earth is giving all this to us. It is Mother

Earth's prasad. Every morning I wake up early and I bow to the sun

and I bow to Mother Earth. She gives us so much. She gives us divine

prasad. Mother Earth gives all nourishment to us, and we don't give

her respect. When I walk I say God's name during every step, and she

can feel that. She can feel someone doing something for her,

protecting her. You have to be that way every moment.

My Grandma told me to wake up early in the morning, look in the mirror

and bow down to myself. It's so very simple, but we make it complicated.

The interviewer said:" it's hard to remember"

Maa replied,"It's not hard. Every day you need to brush your teeth.

In the same way, every day you have to think, "I am a child of God."

During the time on earth we call Satya Yuga, or the age of truth,

everyone knew he or she was a child of God and that they had come to

take care of Mother Earth. Everyone was divine in the age of truth.

Now we are destroying Mother Earth.

Always pray to God to get His grace. If we think we are a child of

God all the time, our actions will become divine. Automatically

everything will come to us.

The interviewer asked: "Does one ask Divine Mother for grace, like

we'd ask our own Mother for a birthday present?"

Maa answered: "Yes, I ask her for devotion and wisdom all the time.

When you have pure devotion, pure knowledge will come.

It is very simple. That is why we need to do spiritual practices, to

remind ourselves to remember divinity all the time. But performing

spiritual practices is no substitute for leading a spiritual life.

Everyone is God. Mother is everywhere. That's why I like to keep

pictures of Gods and Goddesses around me. It's fun.

But what you are listening to now is nothing. Every second has

divinity. It never ends."
