Guest guest
Namaste all, in the on-line class I attended, Ramya told us the goal she had chosen for this week was to be more conscious of speech. As I thought this was a very good idea, I joined her and chose this as my goal too. But how to begin? What is it I would like to achieve? This morning, as I opened my mailbox to read the post from the daily spiritual quote service I have d to, I found the following message: "The trees, the flowers, the plants grow in silence. The stars, the sun, the moon move in silence. Silence gives us a new perspective." - Blessed Mother Teresa Which made me realize that, in order to become more conscious of speech, I will have to become silent first. And then, every time the desire to speak arises, apply the criteria Swamiji has given us: "Is it true? Is it needful? Is it helpful? Is it kind?". This is what I am going to work with this week. Thanks to our on-line class, I now have a definite goal and a method to measure how I'm doing. It is very exciting. And I am sure that, once we decide to learn how to apply the tools given to us by our Gurus, with Their blessing and support we will go forward. Once we decide to work for instead of against Life and Love, all forces in the universe will work with us and we will receive all the help and support we need. with love Henny , "inspectionconnection108" <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > > Namaste > > We had a wonderful discussion on-line Saturday 9:30 AM and Sunday 4: 30 > PM about sutra #1 of the Kasyapa Sutras.
