Namaste

As a result of the Kasyapa /Sutra discussion group on Saturday /

Sunday, I made the following goal: preventing confrontations,

speaking truth and creating harmony when speaking.

I spend a large part of every day on the phone as part of my business.

I realize that I can send energy over the phone, and effect

others-good or bad.

I want to create harmony and balance through my interactions. I have

to watch my words, and the feeling and energy behind them, very

carefully.

I have a tendency to be short and curt on the phone when I need to

accomplish some task. I put the other person's needs second, and mine

first. Ego rules, compassion and patience lose.

So, today, I tried to perform every action with this goal in mind.

As I spoke on the phone, if my energy started to become "pushy", I

paused, took a deep breath, and returned to the conversation with

patience and attention to the other person's needs.

While it was not a "perfect" day, I felt that the mood and energy was

more positive and calm than most days.

I pray to do better tomorrow. With Maa's grace, I will gain more

patience. I have long desired to have some basic patterns change in

my life. Our group energy and committment is helping me to pay

attention to the ebb and flow, and work more consciously.

Thanks for your love and support. We all have to work together to

turn the tide, because we are all interconnected.

Jai Maa, Jai Swami

love
