Namaste dear familly

My goal is all day of this week to revise and to translate into Portuguese some pages of the book The Nectar of Eternal Bliss, but I fall yesterday :(

But I am going...

But I am with problem with the p. 124 and 125 where Ramakrishna said:

"Mother, why did you give a banana to M.? With one banana all your work will be complete"

I don´t understand what is banana, because in Portuguese banana is a fruit.

But in this text banana is pen?

I thank your help

Pranans to all you

Namaste amiga!

Ramakrishna asks, 'Mother, why did you give a banana to M.?' He is

silent for some time and then he said, 'Maa, I understand. One banana

is more than sufficient. With one banana all your work will be

complete. He will be a source of great teaching to many God-hungry

souls.'"

And in English...

Mother feeds M a "spiritual" banana and he will in turn feed many with

his bhava.

Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai Maa!

Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai Ramakrishna!

Dear friends,

I think there is an error in the use of word 'bannana' - a fruit which is known in some Indian languages as 'KELA". Sri Ramakrishna used the word 'KALA' which relates to spritual power not bannana fruit. A full Avatar is said to have sixteen "KALAs'. According to Sri Ramakrishna, mother has given only one-sixteenth part of this spiritual power to Master Mahashya.

Shree Maa and Swamiji can throw more light on the subject.
