Guest guest
Hi there,i will be travelling with my baby (who will be about 9 months old by then) on my own as i have a huge urge to back to India late 2007 - if anyone has done it before was wondering if they could put me in touch with trustworthy babywitter and approx cost. I will be on my own as my husband does not have the urge that I do. Many thanks, Sophie xx
Guest guest
I haven't had personal experience of taking a baby to Mysore, but from second-hand info I've heard that it is really easy. The Indians adore babies, getting a nanny is easy and they are very good, and nothing costs much. You need to be fairly rigorous about hygiene, of course, but nothing too obsessive. Sorry I can't actually put you in touch with anyone, but I expect someone will be along shortly who can. Guest guest
You could try talking to Shantella at the Mysore Mandala. You can find their website online if you google Mandala. They are in Lakshmipuram, but even if you are not studying with anybody but Guruji you still may be able to find someone through her. She sets people up with all kinds of stuff. When I was down in April there was a lady with a 4 year old and they had a sitter that came from the mandala and she was lovely. Hope that helps. If you speak to them tell them Jennie from Canada says Hi. Jennie
