:) hope gives rise to fear... and why do you

:) well, your feelings are your feelings...

but in spite of your expressed strong beliefs,

fade in the light of simple unmediated knowledge.

That's what I was wondering. I could only imagine that Bingo had some

private communications that brought on the difficulty. Another curiosity is which

of our posts are to be dismissed as laughable. I didn't ask cause I really

don't want to know. I appreciate the quality of your posts, and I also don't see

myself as playing the fool here. (Or at least I don't care to continue doing

that.)

I'm beginning to think Bingo should remain to provide the entertainment, and

it's I that should move along to something more serious.

Hope gives rise to fear? Can someone explain that? My experience is

the opposite.

quite simply, whenever there is a hope (that

thinks will turn one way and not another, etc)

there is also a fear that whatever is hoped for

will not be. real hope arises from lack of hope.

Hello Yosy, Richard, and all,

Pema Chodron wrote nicely about the grace of 'abandoning hope' in one

of her books--I think it was _When Things Fall Apart_.
