Guest guest
ViDhi ViDhi: svAmi Nam-AzhvAr in the first thriuvAimohzi of fifth ten -kaiyAr chakkrathu- uses this term '..vidhi vAikkiNRu kAppAr Ar!' 5-1-1 of TiruvAimozhi. What is vidhi? That which cannot be avoided. The blessings of EmperumAn -the causeless mercy flowing unabatedly cannot be avoided and AzvAr terms it as 'vidhi'. Tirumangai AzvAr, having the vision of EmperumAn's various deeds emotionally outpours them into the thirumozhi-p pAsuram 'nilai idam engum inRi' Having so many present and accumulated sins, how can one approach the EmperumAn, is a frequently asked question. AzvAr answers thus: Take refuge in Lord with the firm conviction that there is no other refuge but Him alone. By default all these cumulative sins get erased. Sri krshNA's blessings showered cannot be avoided. This is 'vidhi'.. thuNai nilai mAtRemakkuladhenRirAdhu thozhumingaL thoNDAr*tholaiya .....iNai marudhUDu nadai kaTra theTral vinai paTrarukkum vidhiyEa' 11-4-9; there goes another similarity of parAnkusA and parkAlA TiruvAimozhi vidhi sUzhandhadhAl enakkEal amman; vidhi vAikkinRu kAppAr Ar! adhu namadhu vidhi vagaiyEa and now Tirumozhi 'vinai paTrarukkum vidhiyEa' dasan vanamamalai padmanabhan
