Utilities of Faculties

 

What is the purpose of eyes, ears , hands/

To see, hear and touch one may reply.

 

Kaliyan of course has different idea.

 

The purpose of each faculty is to worhip the Lord and what else for!

 

The Lord who installed the big mountain and encircled it with the long serpant and churned the ocean, who is Himself a golden mountain

is a vision to be seen.

What is the use of the eyes if the eyes do not see this

what is the use of ears if it does not hear of the vAmanan's deeds

What is the use of speech if the subject is not Him

What is the use of singing if the song is not about Sri Narasimhar

What is the use of hands which do not worship Him

What is the use of the mind which does not submit flowers to Him with affection

What is the knowledge if it does not know about Him

What is the use of being a human being unless one submits oneself to Him

Unless these faculties are used for Him these are deemed to be useless and consdired not as they are to be.
