Guest guest Posted November 7, 2006 Report Share Posted November 7, 2006 Sat Nam, Theresa, Try doing the "ego eradicator". 1.Sitting in easy pose, bring your arms out to the sides, and raise them until they form a V shape. 2. Stretch the thumbs up towards the sky. They should be at a right angle. The rest of the fingers are curled onto the pads directly below the fingers (this is the ego eradicator mudra). Begin a powerful breath of fire for 2 min. You may feel a Sharp pain the first couple of times you do this. I read some where that you are stretching the ego. 3. After that inhale and slowly bring your thumbs together above your head. Hold the breath for a couple of seconds. 4. Exhale and uncurl your fingers and sweeping your arms down in a arc on either side of your body, sweeping the auric space clean. If you want to you can fan yourself by sweeping your arms up and down for 2 min. Comment: "In the science of yoga, each area of the hand reflexes to a certain area of the body or brain.
