Guest guest
Dear Linda and all, It was great reading about Ramanama. Rama is my 'ishta devata'.. (favorite embodiment of the Divine)And I find it is so pleasant to say Amma Rama together. The Mahamantra.."Hare Rama ..." holds a very special place in our family. Before my family met Amma for the first time in 1992,my mother had a distinct dream about a Lady in white reciting the whole Mantra to her in a dream. Soon after that my mother suffered a heart attack. A few months later when she met Amma for the first time Amma asked "It is not the first time we are meeting, isn't it??" My parents, (in our initial ignorance of Amma's omnipresence) were sure that it was mistaken identity and said so.It was months before they realised that it was indeed Amma who had appeared in the dream to soften the blow for my mother's illness.I am so glad to read that Rama's name is so tightly intertwined with my Devi's too. Linda I do hope and pray that you are getting a lot of relief. Om Namah Sivaya, Suja.
