Guest guest
Jai Maa, If the ultimate goal of birth or aim of life is victory over death (sutra three), then I must ask what is death? There is death of the moment, death of the dream, of the loved one, of the habit, of the body, of the hour. Is death an ending or an appearance? I think death is identification with things that are limited by time and space as well as the illusion of seperation. If we have the wisdom to know the temporal is not the sum of us, then there is victory over death. Also from sutra four, the bija mantras help with the dross of samscaras. The veil of all that we are not, the thick covering, rough, and hard that hides the white of the inner coconut. Adhering to the yamas and niyamas assists us to recognize these as covering, not as our inner Self. The bija mantras assist us to harmonize with the vibration of that which we choose to express. The outer body may appear to move through the seasons of birth, bloom, aging and the death of winter, but the Truth is we never die and that Self simply appears to move through life after life or season after season. Knowing this, at our core being, we are free of fear. The samscaras and death hold no power over us. Jai Maa, Sadhu Maa
