Endless hell

 

AzvAr mentions the words

'nandhA naragathu azhundhA vagai'11-8-9;

appealing to Lord plase Grace me with your blessings not to be immersed in the ceaselss hell.

 

Sri PeriyavAchan piLLai also indicates

'nandhuvadhum oru naragam vuNdu pOlEA'

 

After experiencing the effects of sins-pApam-s-the Atman takes birth. The anubham in the hell gets over at that instance. However, the samsaric effect of rebirths is ceaselss and thirumangai AzvAr adds this adjective

nandhA naragam.

 

Who can then remove us from ths hell? The Lord's grace

'nALum endhai ..inaruL sevAi' and

after that

where do these devotees go

 

for kainkaryam of course

'thoNdarAnavarrku in-aruL sevAi'

 

Thirumangai AzvAr underlines that the samsArm is the virOadhi svarUpam-nandhA naragam

and EmperumAn is the upAyam-in aruL seivAi and

the aim is kainkaraym
