Guest guest
ShrIgurubhyo namaH Namaste, Recently i had occasion to listen to the MukundamAlaa stotram authored by Sri Kulashekhara AazhwAr. It is said that Kulashekhara was a King and a great devotee of Lord VishNu/Krishna. The audio that i have is a rendering of this stotram by Swami BrahmAnanda of Chinmaya Mission, Bangalore. The composition is very enchanting, full of bhakti and vairagyam, and what not. I felt a desire to read an exposition of these verses. May i request any of our learned members to take up this divine work for exposition on this List? It could be done in a series of posts. What may be available in print already may also be referenced but an original exposition would be most delighting. Prof.VK ji and Shri S.N.Shastri ji could consider this request. Any Shrivaishnavaite member could also make contributions. With humble pranams, subbu Om Tat Sat
Guest guest
Dear Sri.Subramanian, Hari Om I am not sure if there has been any response to your request on Mukundamala stotram, indeed a superlative arulicheyal of Sri.Kulasekara alwar. You may please refer to following link to peruse a detailed writing on this stotram as well as several other Sri Vaishnava works by Sri.U.Ve.Sadagopan Swamy of New York, who is a prolific writer, a pioneer in the cyber satsangam, participating since the early ninetees in various groups. Now, his writings are being assembled under two separate sites. Following is the first one, housing 108 free e-books: http://www.sundarasimham.org/e-books.htm The second one given herebelow has the link to Mukundamala: http://www.ibiblio.org/sadagopan/ahobilavalli/ebooks.htm Hope you will find these links to be of use.
