Guest guest
Hi, Is boiling safe? I think the recesses that have dark areas are oil that are not absorbed and have hardened up. The oil gets stuck in the small fiber areas and don't drip off. They aren't removed by scrubbing with a toothbrush with soap for some reason. One of the 3 beads that came with the Lashmi Puja package, the Ganesh one, also has a lot of dark areas, looks like a resin or something that is resistant to scrubbing. Came that way. Using boiling water maybe loosen them up, though seems a little punishing. Wanted comments being I tried dipping them into boiling water.
