Guest guest
I believe its oil. Not all is absorbed and some of it collects in some of the recesses. The oil residue darkens after a while, some darker some lighter. I noticed after oiling it, the oil residue darkened a little after a few hours. Ok, going to put it in boiling water tonight then and hopefully most of it will melt off. Though I will have to oil them again and there be residue once more... Well it be new residue then. , narasimhaye <no_reply wrote: > > Namaste Andrew, boiling water is safe to use on genuine rudraksh > beads.
