Dear Andrew Ji

 

Namaskar and thank you for your message...........another thing is

that there may be some remaining of the dried fruit in the smallest

of crevice on the bead......the oil would only enhance this to

eyesight.........is a nice contrast ......... to make sure take a 10

power magnifying glass and look into the widest crevice to see what

is actually there.......take a wooden toothpick to see if it move

around and if soft...... if it is so dried on it will not move then

to place in water that has been boiled and removed from stove for

about an hour should soften up whatever it is you are seeing

 

Is not something to worry about as I think the darker color in the

crevices gives the Holy Rudraksha a good contrasting look to their

outer surface
